Privacy Policy
DoshCook LLC (the “Developer”) sets out the following policy on how user information is handled in the iOS app “Emetica” (the “App”).
1. Photo Library
The App accesses your photo library to the extent you allow, in order to play the audio of videos, show thumbnails, and manage My Albums (creating, renaming, and deleting albums, and adding, reordering, and removing videos in albums). Your photos, videos, and information such as their titles are never sent to the Developer’s servers or anywhere else outside your device.
Videos stored only in iCloud Photos are downloaded from Apple’s iCloud to your device and stored temporarily for playback (you can delete them in the App’s settings). The analysis of video audio for the DJ features (such as BPM estimation) is also performed on your device, and the results are stored only on your device.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Favorites, display names of videos, the order of My Albums, HOT CUEs, settings, the time you used DJ effects, and similar data are stored only on your device and are not collected by the Developer. They are erased when you delete the App.
3. Usage Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)
To improve the App, we use Firebase Analytics provided by Google LLC (United States). Firebase Analytics sends Google’s servers (including servers in the United States) information such as how the App is used (for example, launches and screen views), your device model, OS version, and language, your approximate region (estimated from your IP address), and an identifier for each App installation (app instance ID). The Developer uses this information only as statistical data that does not identify individuals.
The App does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. For how Google handles information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases (Emetica Plus)
Purchasing, renewing, canceling, and restoring Emetica Plus are handled through Apple’s App Store. Payment information such as credit card details is handled by Apple and is not collected by the Developer. To check whether you are subscribed, the App refers to the purchase records provided by the App Store on your device.
5. Advertising
The App does not show ads and does not use any advertising SDK.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
The Developer does not provide user information to third parties, except as required by law and the transmission to the analytics provider described in section 3.
7. Children
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
The Developer may change this policy as necessary. The revised policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
9. Contact
For questions about this policy, please email doshcook.jp@gmail.com.
